Warwickshire have pledged their full support for off-spinner Maurice Holmes, who has been banned from bowling following independent analysis of his bowling action.
In a statement released by the club, they have called the decision of the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) disappointing.
"Warwickshire County Cricket Club was recently advised that following an independent analysis of his bowling his action under the scrutiny of the ECB Warwickshire’s Maurice Holmes has been suspended from bowling in county cricke," the statement read.
"This decision is disappointing news to the Club who have pledged their full support to seeking a satisfactory outcome and a full return to competitive cricket for this promising 21-year-old right arm spinner.

Ashley Giles, Warwickshire’s Director of Cricket, added: "Maurice has an unusual action and has often been the focus of attention, but there is a strong belief that further analysis which will be conducted over the next few weeks, will show that there is nothing illegal with his delivery and that he will be able to return to first class cricket. We will be doing everything to assist Maurice in his endeavours."

England produced a fine all-round performance to beat Sri Lanka by 16 runs in an excellent fifth and final One-Day International at Old Trafford.
Half-centuries from Jonathan Trott and Eoin Morgan saw England to a score of 268 for nine and Sri Lanka showed all their fighting qualities to recover from 131 for five to push England close before they were bowled out for 252.
Angelo Mathews (62) and Jeevan Mendis (48) put on 102 for the sixth wicket to keep the game alive and the tourists were still in with a chance until Mendis was caught by Kevin Pietersen off Samit Patel and Mathews was caught by Tim Bresnan off Jade Dernbach.
Dernbach returned two for 49 when he ended the match by bowling Lasith Malinga for six to hand England a 3-2 series win.
England themselves looked set for a bigger score thanks to the contributions of Trott, who made 72, Morgan's 57 after openers Alastair Cook (31) and Craig Kieswetter (43) had put on 85 for the first wicket.
They fell within two runs of each other and when Kevin Pietersen was caught behind for five, England were 97 for three.
An excellent partnership of 118 between Trott, who faced 87 balls, and Morgan, whose innings took 60 deliveries, saw both players score just five boundaries between them but they played superbly to frustrate Sri Lanka.
Morgan fell when he was stumped and Trott was a touch unlucky when an innocuous delivery from Suraj Randiv bounced off his pads and dislodged a bail before he had chance to kick it away from his stumps.
Randiv then returned figures of five for 42, also removing Ian Bell (4), Patel (8) and Tim Bresnan (6) as England's middle order collectively threw their wickets away but fortunately for the home side, they had been given the platform to hit out and attempt to score quick runs.
Sri Lankan openers Dimuth Karunaratne and Tillakaratne Dilshan then both fell for four - Dilshan completing a terrible run of form in the ODIs and Karunaratne making little impression on debut.
Both men fell to Bresnan, who delivered an excellent opening spell and he was backed up by James Anderson, who removed Mahela Jayawardene for nine when he was caught by Alastair Cook.
Kumar Sangakkara and Dinesh Chandimal then revived Sri Lanka's innings, Sangakkara making a classy 48 in 75 balls and Chandimal hitting 54 in 64 balls which included five fours and two well-struck sixes.
Chandimal fell to Graeme Swann and when Sangakkara was bowled by the irrepressible Bresnan, the game looked all up for Sri Lanka.
Mathews and Mendis then gave England a serious scare but they had been left with a little too much to do and once their partnership was broken, England broke through to swiftly finish off the rest of the order.

Magic Moments of India vs Pakistan cricket

India took advantage of a threadbare West Indian attack to establish a 104-run lead by stumps on day three of the third and final Test in Dominica.

All three West Indian pace bowlers struggled with injury, loading a huge burden on leg-spinner Devendra Bishoo with Shivnarine Chanderpaul grabbing a rare wicket and Kirk Edwards bowling for the first time in first-class cricket.

Premier fast bowler Ravi Rampaul only took the field in the final 30 minutes of play, Fidel Edwards bowled at well below his full pace but managed a wicket with each new ball and captain Darren Sammy clean bowled Rahul Dravid but also struggled with injury and was bowling off a short run towards the end of the day.

In amongst the carnage of the West Indies' rapidly diminishing bowling reserves, Abhinav Mukund scored a graceful maiden Test half-century, Suresh Raina his fifth in total and third of the series and Mahendra Singh Dhoni became the first Indian wicket-keeper to reach 3000 Test runs as India closed on 308 for six in reply to the home side's 204 all out.

Fidel Edwards struck first to have Murali Vijay caught by wicket-keeper Carlton Baugh for five before Dravid missed a straight delivery having made the same score to leave India in trouble at 18 for two.

India then had a fine 98-run stand between Mukund (62) and the ever-reliable VVS Laxman (56) to thank for getting their innings back on track.

With the West Indies flagging, they quickly lost the advantage they had gained with two early wickets and the partnership was broken when Mukund was caught at short leg by Adrian Barath off Bishoo, who closed having bowled 35 overs, taking one for 112.

Fellow Guyanese leg-spinner Chanderpaul picked up his ninth Test wicket when Laxman was surprisingly stumped by Baugh.

Virat Kohli made a fluent 30 before he was caught by Baugh off Sammy but the wickets of Kohli and Laxman were followed by 103-run partnership between Raina and Dhoni.

Raina continued his fine form of the series with 50 in 103 balls before Edwards had him trapped in front with a swinging delivery with the first delivery with the new ball.

Dhoni progressed neatly, particularly given his lack of form in the series so far, to close unbeaten on 65 in 109 balls and alongside him was Harbhajan Singh , who had made 12.

The day was the first that was not badly affected by the rain - the opening day saw the West Indies close on 75 for three and day two saw them add 129 further runs before India reached stumps on eight without loss.

Surrey triumphed in the London derby, beatingMiddlesex by nine runs at Lord’s in a high-scoring game. Surrey batted first and got off to a terrific start thanks to Jason Roy (52 from 37 balls) and Steve Davies (51 from 26) who put on 92 in the first nine overs. The home side’s spinners then pulled things back slightly to hold Surrey to 182 for three.

In reply, Middlesex lost three wickets inside the first three overs, before a fightback from Neil Dexter (49 from 37) and Jamie Dalrymple (48 from 36) left them needing 20 from the final over. Sam Robson (18 not out from 11) got that down to 11 from three, but they eventually ended on 173 for eight, with Dirk Nannes ending with five for 40.

Sussex beat Glamorgan by four wickets at Hove as they chased down a target of 133 with four balls to spare. Murray Goodwin anchored the innings with an unbeaten 41 from 34 balls, and was supported by Chris Nash (30 from 32) and Matt Prior (25 from 18), with Alex Joes taking three wickets for the Dragons. Earlier Glamorgan had struggled to 132 for eight, mainly thanks to a fifth wicket partnership of 64 between Chris Cooke (42 from 18) and Stewart Walters (37 from 39), with Umar Gul taking three for 24.

Cambridge University ended on the brink of victory against Oxford University in the Varsity match at Fenner’s. Resuming on 58 for five in their second innings, wicket-keeper Gus Kennedy made 61 to haul them up to 193 all out and set the visitors 336 to win, with Daniel Pascoe taking three for 41 for Oxford. Captain Rajiv Sharma ended on 74 not out, but Paul Best took five for 41, to leave Oxford on 157 for eight at stumps.

Australia Women ended England Women's unbeaten run with a comprehensive seven-wicket victory at Lord's to lay down a marker ahead of the two side's repeat meeting in the final at Wormsley.
England's batting, up until now a huge strength, was undone as they were dismissed for 168 and half-centuries from Alex Blackwell and Shelley Nitschke saw Australia past their target with 15 overs to spare.
Off-spinner Lisa Sthalekar returned three for 30 while Clea Smith and Sarah Coyte both took two wickets as England were dismissed in 48 overs.
They never fully recovered from being reduced to 26 for four early on and despite Lydia Greenway (34) and Holly Colvin (29) fighting back, their score looked inadequate.
By contrast, Australia started strongly and didn't look back with Nitschke (53) and Meg Lanning (43) putting on 54 for the opening wicket.
England struck to having Lanning caught by Arran Brindle off Colvin and then Leah Poulton caught by Sarah Taylor off Danielle Wyatt for nought but Australia rebuilt again.
Blackwell stroked an unbeaten 54 before Nitschke - in her penultimate match before retirement - was run out by Greenway, leaving Blackwell and Jess Cameron (10 not out) to ease Australia to victory.
